l recently had the pleasure of taking some friends to lunch at Alfresco restaurant. We choose that one because it is so close to the cathedral.. When we arrived they were very busy but our wait was well worth it. We enjoyed Lasagna with a glass of wine and followed that with the most delicious desert. We found the price very competitive considering the quality and quantity of our meal. We were disappointed to hear they do not open for evening dinner because we would have just loved to have visited them again. We will know where to go the next time we visit your lovely city. l visited this restaurant one Saturday for lunch. What an unexpected surprise. The food was excellent, very fresh and reasonably priced. A very busy place but well worth the wait.
