Situated in the beautiful Cheshire village of Prestbury, Bacchus is an independent, family owned restaurant with knowledgeable and professional staff that make your visit an experience, rather than just another night out. Head Chef David Cooper has been with Bacchus since they first opened the doors in 2011 and his menus – based on the best locally sourced produce – are modern British with a hint of European. Daily specials are on offer alongside a la carte and fixed price menus and special dietary requirements are catered for with a full allergen list available on request. As the name suggests, great wine is also a feature and the extensive list ably complements the accomplished cooking with plenty of choice at various price points.

A lovely warm welcome and very good service! I had beautiful tempura prawns and my husband has smoked salmon and crab. For main course we both had halibut, I thought mine was delicious, my husband enjoyed his but thought it was slightly overdone

Another fantastic visit and an exceptional experience from start to finish. We were given a lovely table for two, (but a round table enough for four) which made the evening feel extra special and provided the perfect setting to relax and enjoy our meal. The staff were, as always, warm, welcoming, attentive, and professional, delivering outstanding service throughout the evening. The food was absolutely fabulous—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. It's clear that great care and attention go into every aspect of the dining experience, and that's what keeps us coming back. Thank you to the entire team for another memorable evening. We look forward to returning again soon!
