About Baileys Bar and Restaurant

Baileys Bar and Restaurant in Buxton is an independent and family run steakhouse and casual dining venue. It’s spread over two floors with well-behaved dogs welcome on the ground floor. The menu showcases a great selection of steaks, locally sourced from Burnham’s Butchers in Chapel-en-le-Frith, as well as other meat and seafood options – plus a choice of burgers. All dietary requirements are catered for. The well-stocked bar has a great range of cocktails and wines to choose from and Baileys is the only UK venue where you can find Moritz Original, Radler, 7 and Epidor - from Barcelona’s oldest brewery, Moritz – available on draught. There’s also live music every weekend, starting around 9.30pm with free admission.

We hosted our Christmas party at Baileys for the second year in a row, and the experience was fantastic. The booking process and overall organisation was seamless from start to finish. On the night, the Baileys team looked after our group of 26 effortlessly, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend Baileys for any group event or celebration.

What a fantastic evening at Baileys for our Christmas night out. Brilliant organisation in advance . Fantastic service on the night along with delicious food cooked to perfection. To top it off a brilliant band, Sonic Duo playing downstairs , the BEST atmosphere , danced the rest of the night. Awesome ! thankyou to all the staff and the brilliant band for making our night out one of the best.

Relaxing cosy vibe and excellent food. Catered for vegetarians which was a refreshing change and a very enjoyable meal. The restaurant area had plenty of space between tables which makes for a more relaxed experience while eating. Would highly recommended.

Dined here and order the roast beef for Sunday Lunch. Absolutely delicious ,pound for pound the best Sunday lunch in Buxton by a country mile. From the quality of the food, to the way it is served on a wooden block was absolutely top notch. Excellent, professional staff who epitomised the high standards in every area at the restaurant. I took my wife here and was plesently suprised. I had the rib eye (seasoned well) and chips, with bree and bacon balls to start. the Wife had the featherblade beef. Both were great meals. The wine was good and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. The service was classy. There was live music downstairs, I think his name was Michael Dell. Good guitarist, played some really well picked songs, songs you could sing along to, not cringey at all! Very well delivered. Really enjoyed the whole night.
