Baja Mexicali is a vibrant Californian-style restaurant and cocktail bar with branches in Whiteley Shopping Centre and Portsmouth city centre. Both restaurants serve up a fusion of traditional Mexican and Californian cuisine ranging from tacos and burritos to quesadillas and Asada fries. Or if you prefer to ‘picar’ there’s a good selection of small plates to share. And don’t forget a cocktail, craft beer or maybe a tequila to complement your meal. Baja Mexicali has a welcoming, laid-back vibe, friendly service and also has a takeaway and delivery service.

We are regulars and you simply can’t beat the service, quality and quantity of food - we always come out stuffed :) Definitely excellent value for money. BTW the Mexpresso is lush :)

Simply the best restaurant in Whiteley and by some margin. Great tasting fresh food, yummy cocktails and a lovely atmosphere. The team there are attentive and the service is slick. And at a very good price… What’s not to like! Would highly recommend.

What I lovely little place to eat , I keep coming back because it's just so nice . Great atmosphere and great food. The staff are friendly and welcoming what more could you ask for , it's my favourite place to eat .
