We used to go to the Bathtub 20 years ago as students. It was fantastic to go there again this weekend and find it to be just as wonderful as it always was. The owner was extremely friendly and went out of his way to make the evening special. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the food was simply out of this world. We can't wait to go back!

Went to the Bathtub Bistro for a hen party and had a fantastic time. The staff were great, just the right amount of attention to make us feel looked after but not hurried. In fact we were there til gone midnight and they didn't fuss. The food tasted lovely, reasonably priced and good portion sizes too. The manager even threw in a couple of bottles of sparkling wine to get the evening off to a good start. I'll be going back the first chance I get!

I booked the side room of the Bathtub Bistro for a party of 12 and absolutely everybody had a brilliant night. The owner did us a great deal on a set menu, he put us in our own room so we didn't disturb the romantic diners, gave us party music and he and his staff were really welcoming and actually joined in with our fun and games, we were so impressed! The food is delicious and very reasonable for the quality - I can't recommend this place enough. I'm so glad I persuaded my group to bypass a chain restaurant and go somewhere with a bit of personality and proper food that's run by humans. Thanks for a great night!

the new bistro looks good, nice service & food. Little back street bistro hidden in the centre of Bath, can't wait for the summer menu

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! I have been to The Bathtub Bistro twice and both times it was lovely. Lovely open fire and great service. Doesn't look much from the outside, but inside it is warm and cosy with a great atmosphere. On my second visit I had cream cheese, garlic and mushroom pate for starter which was delicious! For main I had a fish curry which was also amazing. Would most definitely recommend.......

Lovely Cosy restaurant with an inviting open fire and quirky artwork dotted around. It doesn? look much from the outside, but don? let that put you off! The food was good and the crispy skin on fries were delicious! Well worth a visit especially on a cold winters eve.
