Last weekend my girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights, we had a most amazing time from the time we walked through the door till leaving. All staff were attentive and professional, the Restaurant team again were at the top of there game, fitting us in when obviously busy but still giving us great service. The food which as a chef is top of my priorities, was extremely well cooked and presented, the local produce list at the start is inspired and showed just how much emphasise is put on the producers. Something I also am very interested in.

I have just spent 3 wonderful nights at Hotel Penzance in Penzance.
Couldn't fault it.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food in The Bay was out of this world, breakfasts to set you up for the day - all in all a very relaxing visit in lovely surroundings both in and out of the hotel. (oh and they have some great handmade cards in reception for all occasions and some lovely art hanging which is also forsale).
Would definitely recommend for yourselves, your family, your friend or clients who may be down on business.
Didn't want to leave and can't wait to return.
Always good to pass on good recommendations.

We had our staff do here, we had a Xmas menu which was lovely especially the veggie option. The staff could have been cheerier! The tables were set out with posh Xmas extras which went down well. The only downside were that our party were split up onto opposite sides of the room instead of together. I would really like to go again for next Xmas.

We love this restaurant, we tried the special regular local Food Hero night where the menu features local suppliers produce. The food both vegetarian and carnivore was as usual excellent from start to finish. I especially enjoyed a confit of rabbit, served with beautiful leaves and an amazing dressing. The staff were professional and efficient, a rarity in Cornwall. Try it!

Our New Years Eve was fantastic!! We have eaten in the restaurant many times and been delighted with both food and service but the Bay really excelled even its own very high standards for this event. In fact we all agreed that we had not eaten better quality food anywhere...and we have travelled far. The staff were superb, attentive, friendly and fun, maybe the pea shooters were a step too far but hey it was New Year, and one that we will remember.

Wow a hidden restaurant in a residential area with superb view across Mounts Bay. We booked a table a couple of weeks ago on a busy Saturday night. The food was excellent with vibrant colours and flavours. The Knowledgeable staff recommended the perfect wine to compliment the meal. It's well worth the visit, I for one will definitely be going back.

I took two vegetarian friends out one Sunday evening for a treat, we sat in the conservatory and chose a decent bottle of rose bubbly to sip and were brought some canapes on the house. We sat at a a window table and soaked up the atmosphere, the veggies were very well catered for and thought the food was excellent, large servings and well presented. I chose the steak which cut like butter and came with 'hand made chips'. The desserts were beautiful and the wine list had a good choice of half bottles so everybody was happy. Well done the Bay!

Fantastic! One of the best meals I've ever enjoyed at a price that was very reasonable. Maybe one criticism would be that some of the portions are on the generous side, one thing for certain is that we didn't raid the fridge at home! We will definately go there again.
