About The Beehive

The Beehive on Sedgeletch Road in Sunniside, near Houghton-le-Spring, has long been a popular fixture of the local drinking and dining scene. The pub still has the old Vaux Brewery signage inside, along with lots of original features and is open daily from 11.30am with food served Wednesday to Sunday right through from 12 noon onwards. You can eat in the restaurant or bar area as well in the beer garden when the weather permits. Expect a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and delicious home-cooked food. Plus live music every Saturday from 9pm.

Always lovely atmosphere staff always there to help n make sure things are ok and the food wow just amazing as always always adding lovely things to specials menu plus classics Had the corned beef pie again just amazing n my Partner had the New York burger n he said was epic can’t wait to head back next time Only downside was a constant beeping like batteries going low in smoke detectors that was annoying
