About Belluno Italian Axminster

Belluno is a family-run Italian restaurant, bar and grill in the south Devon market town of Axminster. The family traces its roots back to Naples and you can expect a traditional Italian menu here at both lunch and dinner every day except Tuesdays. At lunchtimes, there’s a good-value special deal and the a la carte showcases flame-grilled steaks as well as a good pizza and pasta selection. And don’t miss the Happy Hour Cocktails every day. The main dining area is spacious and atmospheric with high ceilings, feature pillars and large windows which let the light flood in. Belluno also hosts occasional live music nights.

We have visited Belluno several times over the past few months. I even took my whole family (11 in total). The food is excellent and waitstaff are excellent. The atmosphere is always good. It’s also excellent value. We will be visiting again soon.

Celebration meal at Belluno for our daughters 40th birthday. My wife and I plus our 3 daughters all commented on the quality of the food, the atmosphere and the lovely helpful staff. We will definitely return and would recommend this restaurant

Alanah is exceptional. From the moment you arrive, she makes you feel genuinely welcome, and the standard of service she provides is outstanding. Her espresso martinis are absolutely superb, beautifully presented, perfectly balanced and easily among the best I’ve ever had. She clearly takes real pride in what she does, and it shows in every detail. Alanah is a real asset to the team and deserves the highest praise.

While visiting my mum in Axminster we visited Belluno we had a lovely meal that was presented lovely and tasted divine my partner and son had the Tuscan experience with 2 sides wow it was so tender and delicious and melted in your mouth, my mum and myself had Lobster pasta to be honest it didnt look much but it was so filling and very very tasty. The staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough for you. You can also take your dog there which was a bonus for us.

A very busy and popular restaurant. There were lots of staff making a very efficient service despite being so busy. We were a party of 6 and we all agreed the food was very good having a variety of starters and main dishes including seafood risotto, mushroom risotto, spaghetti carbonara. We will return.
