The hotel combines a unique blend of English country house charm with all the advantages of modern convenience. All leisure and business needs are met here with 51 spacious bedrooms including 12 secluded garden suites which are very popular, a Lifestyles Health and Leisure Centre and The Watermark Restaurant. In addition the hotel is fully set up for weddings of all sizes, conferences and events. The Watermark is open to non-residents and offers an elevated quality of dining in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant has uninterrupted views across the water and surrounding woodland, an al fresco terrace for warmer days and bar and lounge for drinks, meetings, lighter snacks and afternoon teas. The seasonal menus feature local produce and offer starters that include soups, terrines and salads. Mains feature pan-fried duck breast, rump of lamb cooked two ways, slow cooked brisket of beef, the ubiquitous beer battered cod and chunky chips and of course there are vegetarian choices and fresh fish dishes.
