For sublime food in understated surroundings this is one pub worth visiting. The ambiance on arrival was nice, lots of candles, a couple of intricately carved pumpkins ( it was near Halloween) and a lovely roaring fire set the tone nicely and the pub was busy without being too noisy. The menu wasn't vast but the choice was such that it took my party a good 15 mins. to decide.
And the food? Well all I can say is you must go and find out for yourself. It was that good!
