I've been taking my mum in her wheelchair to lunch there regularly and we always get a warm welcome and as much help as we need. Plus the food has just got better and better. On top of all this it is a fabulous location. I would highly recommend it.

My Uncle Jabba and Auntie have been visiting the Black Lion for over 25 years. It remains their local pub, but in the surrounding area, we haven't managed in all that time to find a better restaurant. they serve good traditional pub food like steaks and pie, but also have more modern complex dishes. All are great tasting though, and with a menu this good, it'll be hard not to be full by the end of the night. The warm atmosphere is very welcoming, which makes a great combination for a fantastic lunch or dinner out. So if ever you're nearby; and hungry...

I want to recommend the Black Lion to every one the food was absolutely fab could not fault it in any way. My friend had steak that was cook perfect the portion were also more than enough The staff were very friendly and welcoming will definitely go back
