Really good food, well priced, nice outdoor seating area, friendly staff and a good range of drinks :)

Food was really yummy! We really enjoyed everything. Also felt it was very good value for money. The beef Nachos we had were only £6 and they were delicious! The lamb, chicken and fish tacos were our favourite. The service was very friendly and relaxed. Food arrived hot and was yum! I did think the waiters/waitresses could’ve been more observant, however, there were a couple of stages where we were waiting on someone to notice we had no drinks left and to offer us more. We were also put on a table, which we’d booked for 3 people and the table hadn’t been prepared for 3 people in terms of napkins & cutlery.

Food was delicious! Loved the lamb and tofu tacos. Didn’t think it was too badly priced compared to similar restaurants in Manchester however we wish the lamb tacos had slightly more filling! Nachos were delicious and good value for the amount of toppings. We went quite early so not too long of a wait on drinks and food. Decor was nice and friendly staff. Planning on coming back for a taco Tuesday!

We visited during the 50% off food opening promotion. Unfortunately we were advised that the happy hour drinks deal could not be used in conjunction with that, but understandable that they have to make some money. On the whole, I'd say the menu prices are a bit too much unless there is some sort of deal. ~£12 cocktails and £9.50 for two tacos feels a bit steep and the bill can rack up quickly. However, with the 50% off it was great value and really delicious food. The service was mixed - our drinks order seemed to get forgotten a couple of times, but one of the team members was absolutely lovely (sadly I didn't get his name).

Terrible :( me and my friends were so excited to visit after seeing the place advertised on Manchester Finest, but everything about this place was just bad. We had to wait ages to be seated, we then had to wait a further 10 minutes to receive a menu. When we had decided what we wanted to eat, it took another 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. Took a good 25 minutes to receive our drinks. After this time, the waitress came back and told us the lamb taco was unavailable after we had already ordered it which I didn’t think was very professional. Our food arrived after 50 minutes, it was very small servings, cold and to be honest, quite bland. No cutlery on the table, so we had to ask our waitress for cutlery and napkins. Took a while for our plates to be cleared, when we asked for the bill there was an automatic service charge on which didn’t seem fair as the service was not good. We left feeling dissatisfied and still hungry so swung by Wing Stop on the way home.

Food was brilliant. We ordered 2 taco dishes (lamb and beef) and a loaded nachos. All were super tasty, the beef was really good. The lamb tacos were crispy and had a nice dip to go with them. We didn’t order any cocktails but they did look good for those who had ordered them around us. Service was lovely can’t really complain! We went at the time of the 50% off deal. I don’t think we would be willing to pay full price otherwise. The dishes aren’t huge, ~£9.50 for 2 small tacos which is quite overpriced… I’d say the £6.50 mark would be more affordable, but again, worth the price at 50% off! Would probably return and recommend to go for the weekly deals. Great food and good service. Thanks!

Dreadful. Took 15 minutes for a waitress to even take our order and when they did, our drinks arrived after our food which took half an hour to come itself. When drinks did arrive, they were ridiculously overpriced for the size of them. Food was cold and tacos soggy as though they’d been sat in the kitchen for ages. Portion sizes are a joke. Plain nachos with salsa took half an hour to show up. If you’re considering a visit to Boogalu, my advice would be to spend your money elsewhere.

Booked in for a a birthday meal and the whole experience was awful! Food was complete naff, it looked nothing like the photos promoting the place on Instagram. We waited 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive for one of them to be missing. After being there for 75 minutes the second drink arrived! Definitely will not be in a hurry to return. Bring back El Capo!

Food was awful. Don’t feel like any of the ingredients were fresh, felt store bought. Half the menu was out of stock. Overpriced even with 50% Whilst cocktails were ok, but also felt that cheap alcohol was used. Highly recommend Wolf at the Door instead, that’s were we went afterwards to have amazing tacos and delicious cocktails. Not coming back here. Thank you.

My understanding is that this new opening is run by people already operating restaurants, if so then it doesn't show 10 minute wait for menu, 10 minute wait to take order, as ordering advised 2 of the 7 main items were not available, 5 minute wait for drink, 20 minute wait for food, food delivered cold If you only have 5 main items and a few nibbles how does it take 20 minutes to serve tacos and nachos How is it possible to serve tacos and nachos cold In fairness the staff did offer to prepare another meal but I couldn't take up the offer due to catching a train. I was not charged for my drink
