I have been to Bradleys a few times for bithday party's and boxing day dinner. The portions might seem small but when you have finished eating you realise that they were not too small as you always leave full and satisfied! And that even is how my farther feels and he can eat a lot! It has always been nice. Staff are always happy to help, very professional but friendly at the same time!!! I have never really had anything that I haven't enjoyed. The nicest thing I ever had was sea bass with sometimg like a risotto on the top it was extremely BEAUTIFUL! Unfortunately it was only a starter both myself and my mother would have loved it to have been a main. Since I had that a while ago I have not seen it since but it isn't like I go weekly. Although if I had a partner I would be begging him to take me there again and again. I have seen that someone said that they were not approached when they walked through the door and it is true, they don't have anyone on the door waiting for people. But all you have to do is go to the bar and tell them you have a booking and then it is all sorted!! Hope that helps any one visiting for the first time. I would recommend this restaurant 100% if you are pondering give it a go. Also the free wine you get isn't bad either like you get it some places where it is so bad you can't drink it. Well not like that at Bradlys. I always have rose my father has red and my sister white and nobody complains :-D

We went to Bradley's yesterday evening with a party of 30 + people. The restaurant coped excellent with us. The meal was superb with good sized portions. Will definitely visit again maybe without the other 30 people.

On arrival there was no staff present and I stood for a while until the waitress appeared. However the service fron the two female members of staff and the food itself was excellent. My disappointment came at the end of the meal with the bill ... I had clearly stated to both staff that I wanted the EARLY BIRD SPECIAL but as the menu offered I wanted the upgrade to half a bottle of wine. So I was surprised when instead of £11.95 and an extra £3.15 I was charged £16.95 and an extra £3.15. But my surprise was compounded by the attitude of the Chef/Manager who argued this, despite the wording on the menu and when he gave in, wrote on the bill the reduction, took the money, and literally THREW the bill/reciepts onto the table. It is a great shame that a restuarant which serves such good food finds itself unable to accept that it's menu pricing is badley worded and then will not accept a cistomers comments and reacts in this way. Despite the good food I am afraid that I for one could never recommend or return to this resturant.

We visited Bradleys last night (Thursday) and had a great meal from the "Prime Time" three course menu (£18.95 with 1/2 bottle wine each). Walking in off the street we weren't acknowledged or approached (kinda Yorkshirestylee!) and almost walked out again. We ordered a drink at the small bar and chose from the blackboard specials. Other diners we met on the train home said that there is normally a good maitre d' but on this evening it was hard to see who was in charge. However this was our only complaint since the staff were all very competant and friendly. The food was superb; good sized portions and very tasty. It's quite a big place although half the restaurant was screened off. Apparently it gets busy over the weekend and it's worth booking.

There was a little confusion at the start of the evening - the "early bird" menu is advertised on the website at £14.95, but we were presented with menus offering the same for £18.95. Once this was ironed out (the head waiter honoured the Internet offer without any hassle), we had a superb meal. Excellent food at a great price, with a bottle of wine chucked in too. I couldn't fault anything about the food - I reckon I could detect occasional Michelin aspirations, and remember this is at gastropub prices! The atmosphere only really picked up by the time we were leaving, but that's what you get for being a cheapskate and going for the early doors offer. I'll be back.

Very enjoyable evening, we have been several times now and find the service and quality of food both great. I would recommend the Limo service.

Very good value at lunch times but, find the evening menu overpriced with quite small portions. A little lacking in atmosphere.
