Built in 1846 by the famous Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Bath's Grade II- listed Royal Hotel is located just a short walk away from Bath's leading attractions. The hotel has been privately owned for the past 20 years and recently underwent a complete refurbishment with the restaurant renamed as Brasserie Brunel. It's styled on a Parisian brasserie and the menus reflect this too with choices like Moules, Beef Bourgignon and Roast rump of lamb as well as their famous extra-mature steaks sourced from local supplier Church Farms. It's open for lunch and dinner every day and can comfortably seat 60 with a private dining room available too. Alternatively, bar snacks are available in the recently restyled 1846 bar. The Royal Hotel has 35 ensuite rooms, all decorated to a high standard in keeping with the Grade II-listed building, and two of these have four-poster beds.Write a Review
