About Bread and Butter

Bread and Butter sits at the heart of Penwortham’s newly refurbished strip amongst a slew of bars and restaurants that make for a buzzy, lively atmosphere throughout the day and night. Chef-owner Ryan and his good friend Scott worked together at a number of northwest venues and from the open kitchen they produce a range of high-quality bespoke dishes from morning to evening using the freshest ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Bread and Butter serves freshly cooked breakfasts, morning teas, light lunch options, tasty burgers, tapas in the evening and chefs specials throughout the week. There’s also a very popular Sunday Lunch menu and a wide range of beverages available from the fully licensed bar.

The best roast dinner I’ve had in a long time, my family and I really enjoyed our food. Staff were lovely and friendly and we are looking forward to coming again

Fantastic Sunday roast (lamb). Sat outside on 18/10 was very sunny and warm and my missus and I had the lamb and mint sauce and a couple of beers. Really, really good. Staff and venue are excellent. We try to eat here once a month. Cant fault it!

Second time visiting and it did not disappoint. Tasty food with big portions (I've had the afternoon tea and also the breakfast and both were great). Friendly and attentive staff. Cater well for allergies. Highly recommend!

First time visiting yesterday for all 4 of us. We all ordered the avocado on toasted sourdough, absolutely delicious, well presented and service was amazing. We will be back, lovely place. Just a shame we could have had the table a little longer!
