We had the most wonderful mid week break at Broadoaks Country House last month. The house and grounds are simply stunning and all the staff made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. We had booked on a dinner bed and breakfast rate so only paid £30 each for dinner, the food was exquisite with a great selection and a clear devotion to local produce and Cumbrian cuisine. Little unexpected touches like a the canapes and sorbet pre - dessert really made the experience a special one and we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Thank You Broadoaks and Sugarvine.

The Broadoaks Hotel and Restaurant has the personal touch of the owners, who put their heart and soul into the place and are undoubtedly very passionate about it. The rooms, each one a masterpiece, the breakfasts, yummy and the attention to detail is immaculate. Thanks to Clive @Sugarvine, I could shortlist a few classy small places to stay at during Xmas and his vast personal knowledge of the area makes all the difference. Thanks for all the help.

This is a tip top establishment in troutbeck. The place is spotless and has been restored with great attention to detail. The food was excellent and had professional service to match and to cap it all its situated in beautiful surroundings! A great place to stay or just eat
