Me and my friend went for lunch today and we only could eat one plate as most of the food was cold and disgusting. I don't think it was value for money and will not be returning there again. They put a 15 % surcharge on now but the food hasn't improved since going I've been feeling very ill so I'm just hoping because I eat cold chicken food that iI is not done to that .

Buffet City is very good for money, they have so much food to choose from and you can go up and help yourself. You can go up has many times as you like for starter main and pudding.

My X wife attended a party with our children at the Plymouth branch. The food was un-eatable. Then to top it all there is a sign that says if there is food left on your plate we may charge you extra for NOT EATING IT! So to avoid this she went to eat a chicken ball from our sons plate! She was then charged full price for a meal for her! So not only was she charged for our sons meal he did not eat she was charged for a meal she did not have! To top it all our daughter hated the food too and did not eat hers! Then to top it all the manager took her money and laughed at her as she left!

buffet city is excellent value for money, its £5.95 monday - saturday 12-4m and then the price goes up evening/ weekend.
I go there once a week with my partner for lunch, the staff are very friendly, the food is good, they have over 70 dishes and you go up and help yourself, you can go up as many times as you like for starter main or pudding.
