About Cafe De Paris

Café De Paris a delightful French-themed café in the heart of Nantwich. It’s an independent venue run by husband-and-wife team Oliver and Hannah and has seating on two floors inside along with a large courtyard garden space for al fresco dining when the weather permits. The menu offers some classic French dishes including French Onion Soup, Croque Monsieur and Eggs Benedict Brioche alongside sandwiches, soup, pastries, breakfast items and locally roasted coffee. There is also a selection of French wines available and an extensive drinks list with spirits, mixers and some house cocktails. During the summer Café De Paris hosts a monthly ‘Saturday Soiree’ with live music, small plates and Charcuterie boards and there are also lots of special events to keep an eye out for over the Christmas period.

Absolutely love it here! Obviously, the good weather helps sitting in the outside space, but withstanding that, I keep coming back whenever I can. A good balance of good food and drinks, that are well presented, with well trained staff, provides value and an enjoyable experience.

Booked for 4 but tried to extend to 6 + highchair and space for buggy online. Only allowed to book up to 5 people, online, so did what they said and phoned. No response by phone after several goes!! Had to visit cafe early that morning to amend booking and nice young man explained phone not working but he could accommodate extra request. On arriving at 12noon found our table had already been booked out?? He did find us another large table, upstairs, but buggy etc had to lugged up there and down again. Suggest there is something very wrong with Sugarvine online booking form and all communications. So, not a good experience this time. Shame!

Have been visiting CDP for several years, I live locally & have always loved the cafe. However, I booked a table for 2 for Sat morning 10.30. Booking was confirmed but when we arrived no table had been reserved. Very helpful assistant found us a table but not where we’d asked for on booking, it then took quite a while to place our order. Coffee was good but Pain au Raisen & Almond Croissant seemed dry. Very busy but staff always seem to be rushing around as though they can’t quite catch up with the demand !

A very pleasant experience very relaxing staff were polite and service was good . The food was really nice and had a different twist to the menu . Would definitely recommend to friends.

Food was lovely. The only thing I am a bit miffed at is the plate was too small. Why cram food onto a side plate when there is clearly enough food on to fit a larger plate? My food just kept falling off!! Please use bigger plates

We had a table booked but decided to leave after being told around half the menu was unavailable. We were then informed that any dishes containing eggs were also unavailable, leaving very little choice. It was really disappointing.

Very Poor! Arrived 10.45 for an 11am booking for 2 people. Nice young waiter took our order. After 5 minutes we were told they were out of poached eggs, would scrambled be ok? I chose an alternative. Our coffees were served, then at 11.20am we were advised there would be a 40 minute delay on food orders! We asked for the bill gor the coffees and then left.

Relaxing atmosphere on a pre-birthday lunch 13 June at our favourite Nantwich venue, Cafe de Paris. Busy again as weather warmed up, short staffed on this occasion but still very welcoming staff, efficient and friendly. Excellent meal as always with a nice slice of apple tart (and one to take home), excellent coffee. Looking forward to our next visit very soon. Your hard work is greatly appreciated.
