Like Italian food? Then stay away from here. The Cafe Nova in the Trafford centre should be avoided like the plague. The garlic ciabatta was soft, hardly an odour of garlic, let alone a taste. The ciabatta with monzarrella cheese was a gooee mess on the top. Tasting of nothing. Although on the menu and ordered, the olives never arrived. Just as well they did not try to charge for them. My wife thought the Spaghetti cabbonara was a disaster. The spaghetti was so over cooked, it was almost a liquid. The sauce a bland indifferent excuse for a sauce. Utter garbage. They also do not appear to know the difference between "Penna" and "spaghetti" bolognase. The bolognase sauce was I think, from a bottle, a cheap bottle at that. The spaghetti was as over cooked as the cabbonara. My daughter was happy with the "cheese beef burger" but not with the accompanying chips. Frozen rubbish? The coleslaw was OK. The cappuccino was just about drinkable. As was the still water, though there was no slice and no ice- the machine was broken, apparently. All in all, a miserable excuse for a restaurant really. Bad food, bad service. The only good thing was leaving the place. If you enjoy Italian food, BE WARNED. Jim Meehan

The fakest most pathetic attempt at italian cuisine ever. Nothing is fresh, and the burgers that they sell are first of all boiled until somebody orders one they they are finally fried. Terrible. I ate there one time and eventually the waiter offered to give the meal free, i refused and paid for everything. None the less, it was laughable. Do not go!!
