Not been here for a few years but decided to try as our friends had been and said it was pretty good. Pleasantly surprised after our visit. Richard, the manager, was welcoming and courteous, and waiter Andy added a bit of sparkle to service. We had antipasto to start which was fabulous with Italian meats, fresh mozzarella, basil, grilled asparagus, pesto sun blush pizza bread and much more. For a main I had cod fillet wrapped in Parma ham and friend had chicken topped with goats cheese, both of which were excellent. A perfect espresso for me and a rich chocolate mousse with a shot glass of cream and chocolate sauce finished off our meal perfectly. Warm farewells on departure made us feel we had made the right choice to come back.

Caffe Uno
We visited the Caffe Uno in August 2003 and had a pleasant experience. Relaxed atmosphere, professional and polite waitering service and - most importantly - good food. We had chicken cacciatore and marinara pizza for a main course. The chicken cacciatore was a real delicacy with that special flair that you'd expect from a reputable chef. The pizza was also very good. As a desert we had cheesecake and banana sundae, both of which were, again, very nice. For a wine, we had the Caffe Uno House Red, which perfectly accompanied the meals. Surely a place to visit again.
