It's great to finally be able to meet friends, post work mid-week or for Sunday lunch, in such a nice place in Kings Cross. The atmosphere is chilled, good music - not too loud - more than enough seats to park yourself for the long-stay and a good bunch of helpful, friendly staff. As for the food...I'm a fussy eater, vegetarian, no wheat etc. and there's always at least 2 interesting veggie dishes - i.e. not just pasta with a sauce! For the meat eaters out there....the quality of the meat is always good - and it always looks hearty. Finally, I'm on a mission to find the best chip in London...the ones here are home made and proper - just how my nanna used to make them! All in all a good place to go for any sociable occassion.

Quality quality quality!! I have sat inside and out now for lunch, each time a pleasure. Service was prompt- essential for working lunch. Great, approachable wine list. Also been in on a friday night, upstairs, with great cocktails music etc. Truly versatile and highly recommended for lunch dinner or party.

I?e been to Canal125 for lunch a few times recently - the place is often busy, but if you manage to get a table on the outdoor terrace area overlooking the canal, within minutes the peaceful surronundings will make you forget you?e in the heart of Kings Cross. Food is excellent - I?e had their poached salmon and the fishcakes, and they catered for my faddy-diet friend without blinking - who said the ?ang Bang Chicken?was one of the tastiest dishes he? had in years. Good selection of beers including Hoegaarden on tap.
