Party of 20. All pre ordered and served quickly and efficiently.
Still Hungry
have eaten there a lot over the last 5 years but wont be back. From cold plates to smaller and smaller portions. Steak and ale pie should be renamed gravy pie chicken and leek pie contained 3 tiny pieces of chicken veg undercooked. salmon main course looked like a starter with only 6 raw green beans a sliver of salmon and 4 tiny new potatoes a joke as a main course!! but not at the price!!! not a lot to write home about here not worth the money a shame because its my local !!!!

I've eaten at the castle gardens a couple of times over the last 6 weeks. On one occasion it was for my son's 18th birthday. There were 19 in our party eating at tea time the Saturday before Christmas. Everyone had starters
The Fine Diner
Went for a birthday meal here recently, not been for ages. There was good choice on the menu, I went for the Gammon which was fine, and the pineapple was nicely charred. The steaks looked nice, as did the mixed grill. My niece had a burger which looked good, and they served the big chips in some kind of loaf tin. The pudding was a little disappointing, raspberry cheesecake, as it was a little over fruity for me, but the others looked good. I'd say Castle Gardens is good for a lazy lunch, but not one to recommend for a special occasion.

Just had lunch at the Castle gardens not eaten there since the revamp but it was a really nice atmosphere and I enjoyed my mixed grill, great portions and my wife enjoyed the fish and chips. Will be going back as see they have a special on sunday lunch
Peter
A perfect place to relax and spend an evening. Worth visiting now just for the beer festival alone. Simon runs the quiz on Tuesdays but come early if you want a seat.

No children under 14! No loud music! No TV screens in every corner of the pub! This is a lovely place to eat, especially in the summer when you can sit in the large gardens. Inside is comfortable and tastefully decorated and furnished. If you are going on a Tuesday, get there early (before 7.30pm) or the Quiz brigade will have bagged all the seats.
Castle Gardens
Very nice meals served in large portions. A great place to eat anytime of the day.
Castle Gardens
This has to be one of the most regular pubs that I visit in poulton. Foods good, staffs friendly. A good relaxed atmosphere.
