the staff polite? i ordered a king prawn dish which was delivered to me as chicken. As a vegetarian it was impossible to eat. Once I had phoned and explained the situation, the man kept saying 'I'm too busy, ring back later'. So i phoned them an hour later...still hungry, and he said to me that i lied and that a vegetarian was not a real dietary condition. ok, coming from a takeaway which sells only halal meat. tell me that isn't a dietary condition either...the outcome?...much abuse and no alternative vegetarian food or refund. the only thing chinese about this place is the anglicised name.

the other recommendations are absolute bullshit. it is the company owners advertising their own business. i have submitted one negative review which has been deleted so explain that. this is not a site for reader reviews, but one profiting from subliminal advertising.

This is the finest Chinese takeaway in Leeds, without doubt. They are not only not greasy, as many Chinese meals can be, they are speedy and the staff are super pleasant. Order with confidence.

We visit Charlie Chans every time we are in Bridlington. Good food, nice and clean. Take the kids. Even granny would like it. To make it extra special ask for a table with a sea view. Miss it and you will miss out.
