About Cheikhos Restaurant

For more than 20 years Cheikho’s Italian restaurant on Church Street has been a fixture of the Lutterworth dining scene. It’s run by the same family as Cheikho’s in Oadby which has an equally long pedigree and both venues are known for their reasonably priced Italian food and excellent customer service. Cheikho’s in Lutterworth has a rustic feel with terracotta flooring, white textured walls, ceiling beams, a vintage chandelier and dried flowers adding an extra touch. Everything is prepared using the freshest ingredients and the menu offers a range of classic Italian dishes with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options available and an extensive wine list to complement the food.  Cheikho’s can cater for larger groups as well as couples and is open Monday to Saturday from 6pm to 10pm.

A favourite place of ours to eat. Excellent value for money, quality of food also excellent as is service. This is the first time that I have booked on the website rather than phoning them and also didn’t have my £20 deposit taken off the bill last night. Hoping that this will now be refunded to me. In future I will go back to contacting them directly.

For a start £20 deposit was not taken off the bill, can someone please contact me to arrange a refund. Do not visit this restaurant, decor is dated, cobwebs everywhere, floating candles hanging from the ceiling don't work and make the place look ready for halloween (coupled with the cobwebs)!! The facilities aren't what you would expect from a restaurant, the hand dryer in the mens is either off or melts your skin off. and everywhere needs a deep clean. Asked for Seabass for main and took 20 minutes to tell us they didnt have any left. The food was mediocre at best, the same sauce came with the starter and the main, the pork was dry and the parsnip crisps/chips used as garnish were oily. They did take off at least one main from the bill without much quibble (they must get it alot), but the bill wasn't clear and we were keen to get out of there as soon as possible. Staggers me how a place like that manages to continue to make a profit. I'm sure it used to be a nice restaurant but it seems it has lost is in dire need of a revamp! I await a response regarding the deposit.

Four of us had a fantastic meal. From steak to Bass, starters and mains quality produce, presentation and service. All reasonably priced and good portion sizes. Excellent
