The Chester House Hotel is beautifully situated in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, the ‘Little Venice’ of the Cotswolds. Privately owned, the Victorian boutique hotel with its pitched roofs has 22 ensuite rooms decorated in contemporary country style, a breakfast garden room, a bar and lounge  and L’Anatra Italian Kitchen which is open for lunch and dinner every day. It’s the ideal place for delicious stone-baked pizzas, pasta, steak or fish. Everything is prepared from quality fresh ingredients and seasonal specials are available throughout the year. My son and I came for lunch this week especially as L'Anatra cook food which I can eat safely as I have a few allergies. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and efficient. We have been coming here for the last 10 years. Well done !!!!

We both had Lasagne which we did not enjoy, some of the meat was only warm,to much Cheese, not many choices on the Desert menu, not good value for money

Ok meal but expected a little better. Bruccetta wasn’t as expected, just on toasted brown bread, prawns weren’t with focaccia looked just like white bread. Lasagna was very oily & pizza was very hard

Booked restaurant in advance of our short break at the Chester House hotel as we knew they get busy. Was right choice as they were fully booked. We both had a lovely meal and the service was great. Relaxed in the bar area afterwards. Would recommend and definitely use the restaurant when we visit again.
