A bit disappointg to be fair. Edible and lots of it. Authentic jamaicain maybe nit and struggling to find the difference between carribbean carvery and standard Toby Carvery apart from we had a choice of curry mutton and plantain. Staff although polite when we asked questions seemed uninterested. Nothng explained to us as how the ordering system worked, no labelling at food stations to know what the dishes were. Being fair when asked staff did explain. Unfortunately for ourselves and some other customers eating: dining experience ruined by children running around and between tables and although staff could see ans even comnented to us when paying it was unacceptable seemed to lack confidence to politeky ask parents ti monitor their children. At times it was like being in the Wacky Warehouse. We went outside to finish our drinks and had our meals boxed up so we could finsh our dining at home. Unfortunately there was a child who climbed up onto a high ledge from inside the restaurant and absolutelty dwmanded our complete attention…again staff observed but not interested. I really want this venture to succeed and want Jamaican food to be put properly on the culinary map. Needs a ‘maitre d’ / front of house Maybe look after 5pm make it adults only Garden area and restaurant need some small tweaks to make it more welcoming and a little more upscale People are buying into the Carribbean experience… we are not getting it…think about drinks cocktails etc , a little bit more than curry mutton and plantain for the carvery.

We had such a lovely experience at Christopher’s! The food was absolutely delicious, really fresh and full of flavour. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. A special mention to Aimee, who was so attentive, friendly and welcoming throughout. She really looked after us and made the whole experience even better. Great food, lovely atmosphere and brilliant service. We’ll definitely be back!

We visited Christopher’s Caribbean Carvery yesterday as a party of 8 and had a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and fantastic value for money. The portion sizes were very generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry! There was a bit of a wait before we were called up for food, although that may have been due to the size of our group. My husband was a little disappointed that the XL option wasn’t available, but it just gives us an excuse to come back and try it another time. The only small suggestion would be to let customers know how long they have their table for when confirming the booking. We weren’t sure how long we had after eating and felt a little rushed towards the end. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!

The staff were friendly, and the food was authentic and delicious. The only thing that was missing was a wider selection of cocktails, and it would have been nice to have more side dishes available. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely visit again.

The food was ok. My husband had the fish Carvery and it was disgraceful. He got 3 tiny pieces of fish that tasted as if it was reheated in the microwave before being served. The ambiance I would give a 4 out of 10. The staff were ok, polite and gave good service. I also don't get why the Mac and cheese was a side order and not included as part of the carvery.Would I go back, No.

We were a party of 4 booked in for Caribbean Carvery. Absolutely wonderful experience: food great choice of meats vegetables and customary rice and peas all very tasty. Excellent service with very friendly staff. My husband and I have been telling others about how lovely it was and we will definitely be returning in the not too distant future with other friends.

We visited Christopher’s for the first time on Saturday, and what an amazing find! We actually discovered it the old-fashioned way by driving past and spotting the billboard outside – and we’re so glad we did. The food was absolutely incredible. The carvery portions were so generous, and everything we tried was delicious – especially the rice and peas, curried mutton, chicken, roast potatoes and the plantain. I never would have thought plantain and gravy would go so well together, but it was a fantastic combination! The mac and cheese was brought home (too stuffed to manage it!) and enjoyed it the next day…we came for lunch and didn’t eat again til the following day and had to sleep it off when we got home! Although it was quite quiet when we visited, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and relaxed, with great music creating a lovely vibe. The service was excellent throughout. A special shout-out to Aimee for making us the most delicious mango & rum and strawberry & rum cocktails – they were fantastic! Also, thank you to the lovely lady serving on the carvery, who was so friendly and chatty and made us feel really welcome. We’re absolutely thrilled we’ve found Christopher’s. It’s wonderful to have a little piece of the Caribbean so close to home, and we can’t wait to find out about future events! Thank you for such a lovely experience – we’ll definitely be back!
