Housed in a listed building on a quiet Victorian street in Chorley, this former coach house has been reborn as a modern smart/casual restaurant, wine and cocktail bar. It’s run by a husband-and-wife team who have put together a globally inspired and varied menu based around locally sourced produce that combines traditional classics and more adventurous choices. There’s a restaurant downstairs with lots of intimate nooks and crannies, an outside courtyard where you can dine al fresco in summer, and an upstairs cocktail bar. The Cosmopolitan also has some good-value deals on both food and drink.
