Came out with hair and clothes smelling of food and skin even feeling dirty due to poor extraction over the cooking area. They ran out of pate for starters even though they were obviously full of Xmas party bookings and we were some of the early ones. Waitress service was poor. Altogether not an enjoyable experience.

What a great idea! We have taken the whole family and every time and it does not disappoint. Our 9 year old 'fussy eater' ate five dishes and loved every one of them. Both myself and my husband had several dishes and only one of those we thought a bit bland but the others were excellent and could be as spicy or mild as you liked. The idea of BYO(bring your own) bottle is so good and should be in all eating places over here, as it has been in Australia for centuries! It really reduces the cost of a good night out. It really is one of those places you should try at least once and if possible again and again!

It had taken us a while to get the opportunity to eat at Cuisine Spontanee, but once we managed to get the booking it was definitely worth waiting for! Being pregnant at the time, I was more than able for the all you can eat experience but was still quite a choosy eater and I must say of the 5 dishes I had (embarrassingly enough) I only found 1 that I was not raving about. Each dish myself and my fiancé had was restaurant standard and I was more than impressed everytime! I would recommend it to any hungry person looking for a tasty night out! My only negative comment is that now, having moved over 300 miles away, we have nothing similar here :o(

We've been quite a few times to this restaurant due to friends parties etc and each time I?e been disappointed. It is true that it is a very unique dining experience and that in itself makes it entertaining if you fancy a change (you pick all the ingredients and the style you want it cooked in and they cook it before your eyes) but at about £20 a head I was disappointed that I didn? like anything that was cooked for me. True you can go up as many times as you like but I wanted something that tasted great each time not something that was mediocre each time. It? a great talking point with other diners you may be with and other people we went with have enjoyed it but I have always been disappointed. Go there if you fancy a change to the standard eating experience. Bring your own wine is a great idea though-Although they do charge a corkage fee (just take a wine like Ernest Gallio which has a screw top!)
Cuisine Spontanee
A real 'food experience', as soon as you walk in you know that you are in for a treat. The exciting thing about eating here is that you play a role in what you eat - the type of cuisine - Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian, French, Malaysian etc ; you choose what ingredients - fresh fish, meat and a wide selection of vegetables and then the food is cooked in front of you in a frenzy of flames. And the best thing is that you can go up as many times as you want, although make sure you leave enough room for pudding! A fresh, fun and different way of eating!!
