Curley's Dining Rooms enjoys a fabulous location overlooking the reservoir at Wallsuches, near Horwich, and is well known throughout the Bolton area and beyond for its award-winning fish and chips. Since summer 2017, it’s been opening in the evenings too serving a varied selection of classic dishes in the atmospheric surroundings of this former mill complex. The day menu runs from 9am to 4pm daily and as well as a good breakfast selection there are salads, jackets, soups, hot and cold sandwiches, homemade pies, burgers and fish & chips. From 5pm the evening menu kicks in. Starters might include Chicken Liver Pate served with red onions marmalade on a toasted brioche or Grilled Sardines tomato and chilli on toast. Mains range from Curleys Classic Mixed Grill, Sirloin steak and their renowned Seafood Platter for two through to Wild mushroom risotto, Potato and coconut curry, Fish pie and – of course – their award-winning fish & chips. There’s a good selection of wines too and a new ice cream parlour.
