My wife and I have been going to the Depa Restaurant in Leigh street on and off since December, 1983. We make a point of going there at least once when we are in London. We feel that a visit to London is incomplete without a pilgrimage to the Depa. It is said that the home of good Indian food is London and, in our experience, the home of good Indian food in London is the Depa Tandoori Restaurant at 4 Leigh St, Bloomsbury. We are from Australia and a journey to London is too long to waste a moment when there on eating at inferior establishments so we make a beeline for the Depa.
