About Derby Arms
Dating back to the 18th century, The Derby Arms at Thornley enjoys a wonderful setting at the gateway to the Trough of Bowland, in-between Longridge and Chipping. It's recently marked four years under the stewardship of the award-winning Seafood Pub Company and to celebrate the occasion the lounge area has been refreshed, the views from the beer garden opened up with a children’s play area added and the south-facing terrace to the front has had a makeover too, with new seating and planting making it the perfect place to watch the world go by and the sun go down. The menu is now printed fresh every day, making the most of whatever fish and seafood has just been landed alongside the best seasonal and regional produce the market has to offer. With their signature seafood sitting alongside British classics and creative world food, there’s something on offer for everyone. The Derby Arms has six luxurious bedrooms too for guests that fancy an overnight stay in this beautiful part of the country. And it’s convenient too for Preston and the M6 if you’re looking for a stopover. The Derby Arms is one of eleven venues in the Seafood Pub Company.

Food is served all day but book your table from 8:30pm onwards and it’s yours for the night; we will welcome in 2020 with the big ben countdown and a glass of fizz on us and our DJ will keep you entertained through the night
