About Desire Cocktail Bar

Desire is Stoke-on-Trent’s newest premium cocktail bar. The venue, with a nod to The Alchemist in Manchester, has opened on Piccadilly in Hanley and boasts smart décor along with an exciting and unique range of cocktails. How about a Solero flavoured cocktail, another with dissolving candyfloss, parma violets and rum, and one inspired by lemonade and bubble tea? Desire is open Wednesday to Sunday until midnight and is the perfect luxury setting with a hint of theatre.

We had a great time at Desire on a rainy Saturday afternoon, where we had a bottomless drinks and a scrumptious afternoon tea. Fantastic service with a smile with delicious cocktails, can't wait to come again.

Visited on Sunday 12th May pre theatre. Lovely place had cocktails and the barman was so helpful in helping us decide which ones to have. Got a night out in June with friends and will definitely be popping in again.

Saw this place on Facebook and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is brilliant, staff are happy and friendly towards you. The drinks are amazing. They are well worth the price. The shots are lovely as well I would recommend the galactic shot and my son lobed the melonin cocktail. Their signature cocktails are fun as well as tasty. My favourite was probably the experiment. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone who likes the vibes of Manchester cocktails bar and doesn't want to travel that far. I would say the best cocktail bar stoke has to offer.

I visited on Friday with my friend - neither of us had been before. We were so impressed with the place! Not only is the venue gorgeous but the staff are lovely and the cocktails were great. Our waitress in particular (I don't know her name but she's 18 and has a partner who loves Disaranno!) was brill, making recommendations and just having a good chat with us. I'm excited to come back with more friends.
