We eat at the Dolce Vita from time to time. The food is lovely and the service is decent too. The decor is very outdated and in serious need of a re-vamp (artex on every service and cheap tables and chairs), but if you can ignore that it's actually quite good overall.

A very noisy restaurant but had to wait having ordered our food!! Once the food arrived it was average and on cold plates. It was disappointing to see that all the food didn't arrive at the same time. The waiter was apologetic, and the service was good always helpful to get us more drinks. Overall impression is that it is a little expensive especially when you are eating in an outdated restaurant..

I have been to Dolce Vita numerous times with either family or friends. I have always found the food to be outstanding, definitely the best Italian around and fantastic value for money.

Absolutely fabulous food but extremely poor service. We sat near the near and heard the staff make extremely derogatory remarks about people after they had left, very distasteful. They moaned and groaned throughout our time there which spoilt the night. Have been several times and the female staff are always bitchy. A shame. It puts you off returning. Staff needs retraining or sacking. There are too many restaurants needing good customers to treat your clientele in this way.

A true taste of Italy on a cold winters evening. Just brimming with passion with food to die for. From the King Prawn Starter, to melt in your mouth venison, this gem of a restaurant is a well kept secret of the residents of sleepy bamford. Just magical and me and my family will be back time and time again. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Recommended by Anonymous Diner. [ August 2008]. Have dined here now on many occasions. And we keep going back for more!. This Restaurant is hard to beat. Still the best Italian Restaurant within its surrounding area! Excellent food, Excellent service, Fantastic atmosphere, Just like Italy itself, -Fantastic!!. This restaurant just gets better and better. There is a new head chef, who it seems has introduced some delightful specials. We had the lobster which was sublime. As ever, Sergio is welcoming and ensures everyone has a great evening. Am looking forward to returning on Mothers Day.. highly recommended
