We celebrated our Golden Wedding in the superb top floor dining room of Secco with 38 guests last week. Everything went according to plan: the attention to detail in the setting up of the room, the efficient, helpful and friendly staff who couldn't do enough to ensure that everything went perfectly,the warm and relaxed atmosphere, the wines and the food, which was fabulous, all contributed to an evening that surpassed our dreams. I would recommend it unreservedly to anyone planning such an event.

Dined at Secco last night - fantastic. Even though it was busy with christmas parties i never felt that staff were trying to rush and the quality of the food was amazing. The stuffed shoulder of lamb is to die for! They have really managed to keep prices reasonable without detracting from the quality of the food.

A fantastic night out, where you never feel like theres a crowd of people waiting to sit in your seats! Food well served, quality produce thats just a pleasure, cool place too. This is my fav restaurant in Newcastle, a real night out! Highly recommend!!

Enjoyed a wonderful lunchtime two course meal here for £11.00. Food was excellent, me and my better half tried some dishes we'd not tasted before. For example a starter of pigeon served on rocket with pomegranate, a main course of little courgettes made with chick peas and aubergines. Cooked to perfection and easily amongst the best food I've tasted in Newcastle and will definitely be making it a regular venue for eating out. Nice extras of complimentary bread olives etc on arrival.
