I ordered a Mushroon Bhuna the mushrooms were out of a can! all three of us ordered different Curry's but they were all the same and the waiter stank of sweat not happy at all it was disgusting.

This is by far the best Asian restaurant in Leeds. Akbars held the crown for so long but East has kicked it to the kerb. If you want quality food at a reasonable price with excellent service then look no further.
Its a great concept as you have bars upstairs where you can chill out and drink before or after your meal.
The menu is amazing with lots of different dishes. I would recommend Lamb Monty/Bhindi Gosht and for all you Korma lovers out there you will not find a better Korma in the universe.

east is the best Indian restaurant that my family and i have ever eaten in and I'm sure i have tried most of them.staff very friendly food and atmosphere are fab. the machli tikka melts in the mouth. try it!

Notably the service is extremely good, very attentive, and the staff are all very polite and efficient.
The quality and authenticity of the dishes is fantastic.
We have visited there both as a large group , and also just the two of us, and both times there was nothing that we could not say was excellent.

The atmosphere and food here are excellent - Just pop in for a drink - nice friendly bars. The staff are second to none and are willing to recommend food and adapt to your taste. The daytime food is also very good - I wish they would extend it into the evening so that I could go more often - couldn't eat curry every day!
