I could not be more upset over the loss of this fantastic venue :( This has been mine and my dads favourite bar for such a long time and I will never forget how happy the long island iced bulls and squashed frogs made me and him on the random little eight bar outings we shared together <3 RIP EIGHT.

Myself and friends enjoyed a fab meal tonight at Ei8ht. Delicious food, great service and reasonable prices. Would recommend to anyone, you won't be disappointed!

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times and to say I am disappointed at the last time is being generous! The food took over an hour to arrive and when queried found out that it hadn't been sent to the kitchen! Also hard to order drinks - not nice to sit with an empty glass! When we complained we were given an apology and that was it! Will not be returning!

Popped in on a Friday night with a small group of pals. At the bar, a man (who was the owner) told my friend he was leaning into him - so I swapped places to avoid conflict. Then the friend (who has a disability) needed to sit down, his brother got a chair over and the guy at the bar went nuts -the owner! I assume he thought we were causing bother.... he grabbed my friends arm, in turn smacking me in the face! and was so very aggressive. The bar staff and bouncers intervened and we were all shocked by his attitude-he refused to apologise and was threatening towards us. Avoid this like the plague - this man was stinking drunk and vile. DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR MONEY!

We have enjoyed eating at Eight in the afternoon-sandwiches are just fantastic ,served with salad and fries/crisps. We went with our in-laws Friday night and the food was beautiful both in taste and presentation.Staff, as always very pleasant and attentive I give EIGHT-"TEN out of TEN"

I've been here quite a few times now. The food is top notch and if you take advantage of the offers then you're quids in. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. As we live near Allerton we're spoilt for choice for local eateries. But eight is the one that tops my list

Heard of this restaurant as being busy or maybe quite but food is always great .Friend s have been telling me to go so i finally went fri 1st being off work went with three of my work colleague was told to try the steaks steaks are amazing apparently . we went straight upstairs as wine bar was full and to our surprise without booking so was restaurant 3 tables were left so we went for the one by the window .Menu was small but the specials took my eye T Bone steak with chips salad or new potatoes choice of sauce for 22.95 i have that when it came it was cooked to perfection chips were definitely homemade service was good and attentive shall return next Friday all though i heard a whisper they are changing there menu and summers here and there bringing ice-cream bonanzas in lets wait and see
