Eighth Day Vegetarian Café - the best place i have ever come across for a filling meal or a snack!! Love it!

I love this place. Salads are always varied, and the hot food is really tasty. If you're not hungry you lounge in the sofas with a coffee...and a cake :o)

Normally a good selection of dishes and salads on offer, so it's likely that there will be something to suit. That said, what's on offer that day can be dull and the quality variable. Staff can be surly.

I think that it may take a while for the Eighth Day to regain the feel of the old gourmet evenings. The new menu is perhaps too extensive and some of the dishes didn't work so well. I think given time, it will come good.

This place has recently udergone a refurb and looks fantastic. Upstairs is a veggie/vegan healthfood shop and downstaris is a canteen style eaterie by day and restaurant by night. Top quality food in cool surroundigs and I'm not even a vegetarian!!

This place has a very comforting feel. The food is filling and simple but very tasty. It feels like a throw back to the sixties!
