Wonderful welcome, wonderful food, free bottle of house wine for two on Wed eve special. at present think £11.95 gets you a three course meal, waiters great cater to your every need, wine is lovely even though free, everything hot, if you like a korma the green goat (or ??) was just like a korma but green with coriander, it was mmmmm and it was perfect, not too sweet and rather creamy -would recommend chapattis were the best Ive had and we dine out a fair bit. We come from Keighley where some lovely currys can be found, but this is definitely the best in Morley, and very welcoming, a little small, but this adds to the atmosphere of welcoming, warm, cheerful, alongside great food - well the number one Indian spot for me, beats a lot of the bigger curry houses any day.

Its got parking which is good, the Sunday 4 course deal is very good value, the waiters were a little over attentive but very nice, lovely decor and nice waiting area, unusual choice of music (abba), started with a pickle tray which are above average, main curry 3.5 out of 5.
was offered a free shot of brandy at the end, went down well overall,
worth a visit.

Ya know i love the food at this place and I'm dying to go back however despite visiting numerous times last time we went the staff were completely rude and obnoxious because we had booked for 18 people and turned up with 19 they turned this in to a massive issue all for the sake of one place at a table i was spoken to very rudely by a waiter so we walked out. bloody good food really nice venue (bit cramped though) but if your going to turn up with an extra person id suggest ringing ahead.

We are always greeted as old friends here and have a good laugh & crack on with the staff.I've been enjoying Indian food for longer than I care to think about BUT Elemis has to be one of the best .My personal favourite has to be the chicken balti.
As previous entries say,the Wednesday/Sunday deals are brilliant value.

As a local resident, you could say I am biased however this is certainly not the case. The food, service, value for money and ambience is excellent. Sundays & Wednesdays you can have a 4 course meal for £10.95, this is not a buffet but almost any choice from the menu (which is vast). A close friend of mine who eats in the best Indian Restaurants in Bradford has also given his seal of approval. Elamis has become very popular mainly through word of mouth. Keep up the high standards Elamis, you have got it right!!

Hi ,
This is the first time I have visited Elami's on Mother's day with friends. We have booked the table and got there on time. There were 4 lots of people have come after us so we had to wait until everyone has taken a place. Our turn didn't come until they managed to find seats for everyone who have come after us. We felt so humiliated with 2 kids waiting for more than 30 minutes.
Even Though the food was nice we don't think we will go back again for the hospitality we received.

On reading the reviews on this website my wife and I decided to dine at Elamis Balti House. We had an offer of a curry for £1 through the British Curry Club and decided to try this restaurant.
We rang in advance to book a table and to check they were participating in the offer which they confirmed they were. When we arrived at the restaurant and placed our order we also confirmed we had a British Curry Club voucher which the waiter confirmed this was 'ok'!
We had an enjoyable meal, but when we came to request the bill and present the voucher, to our surprise we were told that they were not participating in this offer after all.
We explained we had informed both the person who took our booking and the waiter who took our order that we had a voucher for a £1 curry, but were basically told we were lying and we were then met with comments about the small print on the voucher.
We were also told the waiters and the person answering the phone do not speak much English so they must have misunderstood (twice)!! What a joke!
We stood our ground as we were extremely angry at this stage and it resulted in a public display of terrible customer service and excuse after excuse for their failings to the embarrassment of those people dining around us. My wife and I dine out regularly and have eaten at Indian restaurants all around the UK but have never experienced such appalling service.
We were made to feel as if we were trying to cheat them which could not be further from the truth.
Do not be taken in by this restaurants claims that they pride themselves on customer service because in our eyes their customer service is non-existent.
If you are prepared to accept horrendous customer service then by all means visit this restaurant. If however like ourselves you value decent service as well as good food then avoid this restaurant like the plague!
We would not step foot in this restaurant ever again even if they paid us. You have been warned!!
Tina
This is the nicest Indian restaurant i have eaten in in a very long time, the service is personal and friendly, the food is hot and tasty and the staff are very welcoming.
It is busy every night of the week but especially on Wednesday and Sunday as it has a 4 course menu for £11, bargain!!!
I can certainly recommend the chicken and spinach curry and the stuffed morcha raja (green pepper chargrilled then stuffed with spicy keema) delicious...
