About Ellenders

Situated in Wyberton opposite The Quadrant on the A16, Ellenders is Boston United’s brand new bistro style bar and restaurant which opened in May 2021 at The Jakemans Community Stadium. The restaurant décor is modern and stylish with an industrial feel to create a fantastic space to enjoy food and drinks with family and friends. Homage is paid to the history of the football club and their old stadium at York Street with memorabilia dotted throughout the restaurant. Expect traditional, high-quality cuisine featuring a variety of dishes including signature dishes such as Chef’s Homemade Pie, Fish and Chips and Burger). A full allergens menu is also available on request.

8 of us had a meal before a show. The food was lovely(as always)and we were worried we would not get seats together for the show which was in the hospitality suite. the bar manager went out of his way to make sure we were seated together .the waitress was friendly and made sure we we had everything we wanted

We attended the meal and quiz night on 5th October 2026 For some unknown reason the meal was delayed so everyone there agreed to start the quiz while waiting for our food. When our food arrived it looked extremely unappetising. The sausages were very undercooked, just over being raw! The point of our knives had to be used to pierce the almost raw sausages in order to be able to cut them. The mashed potato was luke warm and tasted like reconstituted potato. There were hardly any peas on our plates either. The gravy resembled coloured water, extremely thin with no flavour. Many people returned their food and we heard many complaints throughout the evening. We ate what we could, which was hardly anything, because we were hungry. The whole meal experience was completely unpalatable. We have been attending your quiz nights since they first began. We sincerely hope that the food you offer us in the future far exceeds this most unpleasant experience we encountered.

We went to Ellenders yesterday we were served by the lovely Rachel she as always was brilliant.However there was a long wait which she explained to us,which was out of her control, she handled the situation well. The food as always was excellent.
