Genting Casino Edgbaston prides itself on being one of the most exclusive casinos outside of London and it relaunched with a new-look menu in May 2013 after an extensive refurbishment.. It’s located in the leafy Birmingham suburb of Edgbaston, on the corner of Norfolk Road and Hagley Road, just a five-minute drive from the city centre and with secure on-site parking for up to 80 vehicles. The casino and restaurant are housed in an elegant three storey Victorian building and a brand-new first floor function room is now available for conferencing and private dining, alongside an exclusive private gaming room. These rooms can be hired for corporate events, launches and private parties and guests can choose to dine from the full a la carte, the midweek deal menu or a bespoke buffet or canapé selection from Head Chef Alex Lopez (ex-Belfry, Malmaison and Macdonald Burlington) and his team. Current favourites include a range of 35-day-matured Grangemoor steaks from the Josper Grill with triple-cooked Cornish sea salt chips, seasonal dishes like Seared sea bass fillets with new potato and tomato confit, sauce verge and baby herbs and Chef’s fusion dishes influenced by the heritage of Genting in Malaysia, including Jasmine tea-infused prok belly with white asaparagus and Chinese cabbage. Genting Casino Edgbaston offers a complete night out to those looking for an enjoyable, stylish evening away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
