About Farmhouse Dine & Wine

The Old Clarence Villa pub in Coxhoe, County Durham has had a makeover emerging as an authentic Italian restaurant with a contemporary feel, alongside a traditional pub with its own bar food menu, real ale selection, live music and pub quiz. The food is just like mamma used to make with a range of pizzas, pastas and main courses and some great-value Happy Hour meal deals throughout the week. Before placing your order, please inform a member of staff regarding any allergies. Farmhouse Dine & Wine is open every day right through from 12 noon and has a beer garden to the rear.

Myself and some of my family were there for Sunday Lunch on the 12th July we had lovely food and service was excellent

Won a competition for 2 cocktails and 2 meals. I already had a table for 4 booked and they allowed me to use it on that. Food was great... garlic mushrooms, calamari lovely...parmos,fish n chips, pasta also lovely. Sticky toffee puddings all round...again lovely. Cocktails great . Staff super friendly. 3 course meal deal was a bargain.

Had a Sunday lunch, and couldn't fault it, plenty meat and lot's of vegetables along with a large Yorkshire pudding. Lovely atmosphere and staff very attentive, we will definitely return

Very disappointing. We booked a table for 2 people at noon on a Thursday. If it hadn’t been for an office lunch party of about 12 we would’ve been entirely alone. We were met by a stroppy member of staff (Manager?) followed by a friendly waitress. We both ordered the Farmhouse Club. It was virtually impossible to eat, made up of three x half-inch-thick slices of toasted sourdough, overdone bacon (chicken was fine) - and the hand cut chips! As thick and solid as two fingers (the seasoned fries were fine). Despite this we enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding followed by a liqueur coffee. We asked for some recompense for the disappointing Club so we didn’t get charged for the dessert.

As always we weren't disappointed, clean and tidy restaurant, catering really well for my wife who is gluten intolerant. Delicious food served without delay and piping hot. We had 2 courses from the main menu and 3 rounds of drinks which came to just over 60 quid, can't complain at that. If you haven't been before give it a go, definitely give the parmo a try. It is a family restaurant so expect children around if your dining at tea time
