Set down a treelined grassy bank from the road, the entrance is down a flight of steps and tucked away on the far side of the building, whilst once inside, the overall ambience is one of a slightly down-at-heel Little Chef.
That said, there are a reasonable selection of beers and wines available whilst the food is both cheap and plentiful if not exactly served with a smile.
Overall, a handy bolthole for any guests trying to avoid the overpriced restaurant at the nearby Ramada Jarvis Hotel on Phoenix Way.
