i visited frankie & benny's on the tuesday and it was fantastic. they were having an elvis themed night which was totally unexpected but was well worth the surprise. All the staff were in fancy dress and the restaurant was in theme as well. I want to say a big THANK YOU to all the staff that made my mums birthday so special. My waitresses was so attentive to my children and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend the place to everyone. Good food and service is so important these days due to the credit crunch.

Do not even consider if you would like a peaceful night out especially if you are booking a table for two. My partner and I invariably end up on a table that is the size of a tea tray placed in front of the open-plan kitchen which will get bumped by every passerby. The regular blasts of 'Congratulations' does not soothe either.
The food is nice and portion sizes are large but it does not justify the prices.
The last time we went we were ignored by several staff until being rushed to our seats. We waited for 25 minutes before a drinks order was taken. We ordered food ten minutes later which turned up fairly promptly but with no sign of drinks.
Given that it was a busy time of year we booked in advance but they seemed hugely understaffed and under-prepared. This visit has made me reconsider going back.

top grade for children's parties etc. they love the exiting atmosphere when all the cakes come out and they all keep singing happy birthday do you have any vouchers etc my grandson is coming down with about 14 of us for his 10th birthday

If you are looking for a quiet dining experience forget it, every time I’ve been here it’s always been noisy and seems to be popular with children’s birthday parties.
The food on the other hand is good.

I have to disagree totally with the last recommendation. We waited a long time for our food which we could see for a long time sat on top of the grill but the manageress was far too busy chatting with her colleagues to notice. Also the music was extremely loud. Ok if you want cheap food and everywhere else is fully booked.

Great atmosphere, went for our birthday-services was spot on, staff and managers were very professional. Would definitely recommend. I would advise to book as they are very busy esp weekends. Loved it!!
