Back in 1997, Fuji Hiro was the first Japanese restaurant to open in Leeds and more than two decades later it’s still going strong. The intimate 40-cover restaurant is close to the Merrion Centre and decorated in traditional style with Japanese art adorning the walls and old sake bottles spread around the room. Chef-patron Victor learned his trade in Japan and he has put together a concise and tasty selection of dishes with friendly staff on hand that are happy to guide you and make recommendations. Takeaway is also available for collection and delivery.
