Very friendly welcome, quickly sat us down with menus and took pre-dinner drink order. Nice menu, very competitively priced, and a separate specials list. Seated quickly at a good table overlooking the casino floor, and iced tap water came immediately foolowed by the first courses. My wife had the cold salmon crown which was topped with prawns, I opted for garlic glazed mushrooms on toasted ciabatta, both dishes were generous in quantity and professionally presented. I requested my main course of ribeye steak to be cooked rare, and you would be amazed at how often I get questioned by restaurant staff, informing me that their chef prefers to cook it medium to rare, (I sometimes want to question the quality of their ribeye that doesn't allow for rare), however I was most impressed when I was asked if I wanted it 'blue' or just rare, and it came perfectly cooked as rare as I like it and well seasoned and tasty. Seabass fillets were again nicely presented, with a tomato based coulis thoughtfully on the side of the plate rather than smothering everything. Veg's and potatoes were ample, and unusually for us, we also both had a dessert, a lovely home made creme' brulee and enormous fresh strawberry meringue concoction that unfortunately beat me as I was by now fully sated. We had a very acceptable Pinot Gris again well priced at £14.00. Total bill including drink at the bar - £63.00. All this with exceptionally attentive and well trained staff means we will be back again very soon.

The restaurant was beautiful, food lovely, service shocking!! Snails pace just about describes it. We pre ordered to and it was very quiet too, shame :-(

My wife and I visited casino in October had a good time even though we lost ( don't play if you cannot lose). I should mention we live in USA. When we arrived home my wife found cashout ticket in bottom of handbag(where else) . She called Sandcastle who said send ticket and we will send you a cheque. WHICH THEY DID. We do not care how much we lost. We found a WINNER the Sandcasle. John d black

I once went with friends and got free lager. Although I am not a person who attends Casino's it was an interesting experience. It is a good night out for couples and groups wanting a flutter, a meal and something different to the norm. Moderation is the key and it was lovely to be by the sea. It will be more welcoming nowadays thanks to the improvement of the promenade.

My husband and I went here for the first time as we wanted to try somewhere different. We weren't members of the casino but it only took 5 minutes to join. The restaurant is upstairs on the mezzanine with views overlooking the casino itself. The decor is quite modern with very comfy chairs and the atmosphere is a little more high class than the majority of restaurants in the area. The service we received was exceptional - they seem to have the right balance of staff to customers - and the staff we always very polite and nothing was too much trouble. We were shown to our table and offered some bread. As well as the usual butter they also provide you with a small dish of olive oil and balsamic vinegar so that you can dip your bread in - apparently, this is quite common in the rest of Europe. We hadn't tried it before but it was very nice. So, onto the meal itself. For starters I had parcel of warm smoked salmon which was stuffed with potato and chive salad. My husband had chicken liver terrine which was a pate in a light pastry. Both were lovely - the salmon was to die for! For main course we both had the special that was on that night - Lancashire sirloin steak. This was a sirloin steak with black pudding and bacon on top (the black pudding was divine and just fell apart when you cut into it). This came with chips, which were more like small roasted potatoes (yummy), a flat field mushroom, rocket, grilled cherry tomatoes and a separate jug of pepper sauce. We were also served with a side-dish of mange-tout, carrots and cauliflower - but there was already more than enough on our plates, hence the beg got left. The steak was cooked to our preference and was perfect! For dessert we both had a selection of Cornish dairy ice creams - again, very nice. We had a bottle of Petit Papillon red wine with our meal but they also provide complimentary bottles of water - nice touch, not many places do this. We both highly recommend this restaurant. The prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food AND the excellent service. Our bill came to £56 - for 1 round of drinks, bottle of red, and 2 three course meals. You won't be disappointed if you go here. This has to be the best restaurant in the area and makes such a nice change to the many other restaurants around Blackpool.

Having been asked to organise a party for a friend's 30th for 20 people I was a bit worried. However, a friend from work recommended G Casino to me and what a brilliant choice we made. It's not just that the food was good(it's gorgeous and sooo cheap for the type of food) but the whole night was excellent. The restaurant itself is dead posh and you can look over the whole casino from it. They have a Party organiser who was brilliant - she was really helpful. I had smoked haddock florentine which was absolutely gorgeous followed by seabass which was the best I've ever tasted. My boyfriend had a half pound burger! cos he always picks something like that! But that's the point really - the menu is very varied - there's something for everyone. There was live entertainment on later - a guy who was on Britain's Got Talent last year, he was hilarious. I ended up winning £20 on roulette too. It's very good for parties because it keeps everyone together in one place. i was really surprised how big it is inside. very modern & comfy bar area. I will be in there again this weekend to try a bar meal - couldn't get in the restaurant this saturday as it's already full! One thing to remember you have to bring your passport or a driving licence with a photo on it to get in. Really really good.

I visited G Casino on Saturday 31 January 2009. We were celebrating my sister's 40th birthday. What a fab night! 3 course meal, glass of bubbly, £10 to play on the tables and tuition before we were let loose on the tables. £25 each for all that! Unbelievable. Superb food. The staff had decorated the table with balloons & table confetti. There was live entertainment in the bar later on which was also excellent. First class attention to detail from booking to leaving. They've even got ' car jockeys ' that will go & fetch your car!

A perfect evening This was my first visit with my brother, I will be telling my friends and dining again, without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you so much for a lovely evening Angela
