From the moment we arrived we felt very relaxed and well cared for. The food was exceptional and good value for money. The menu was expansive with some unique touches (the sauces accompanying the steaks were not just a single flavour but were a balanced medley, which complemented the whole dish). Most importantly we did not feel rushed, it was obvious that the table was yours for the evening. As a table of four, we enjoyed a total of nine dishes (3 starts, 4 main, 2 desserts) 2 bottles of wine and 2 large shorts. The bill was £130, worth every penny. Pity we can't do it ever night. Without doubt our new favourite restaurant. Definitely to be recommended.

Gemelli's has now expanded it's opening times and menu to serve the evening clientele. This place is a jewel in Newport's tatty crown....there is no other restaurant to compare in terms of quality and service. Fantastic!
