About Griffins Head Bar and Grill

The Griffins Head Bar and Grill is a Victorian-era pub at Huncoat, Accrington with a fresh, modern feel and a varied food offering. The pub has one large dining area with mosaic tiled flooring and a modern-industrial feel as well as a small beer garden with six tables. Chef-patron Lee Wright took over the reins here in May 2022 and his home-smoked meats are a speciality alongside traditional pub classics. There are special offers most weeknights too alongside the main menu and a quiz night on Wednesdays. A good selection of lagers, cask ales, wines and spirits – plus a cocktail list – ably complements the food.

The new owners have transformed this pub. We have dined here several times, since they took over, and the food is exceptional - by far the best food in the area. Fantastic value too!!
