This was the best carvery we have ever had, so much choice in vegetables and the meat was so tasty and so much of it. Brilliant thank you

What a lovely pub. Extremely friendly staff. Took my great aunt here for a birthday treat. We were quickly seated and had our orders taken. There was a good selection of drinks and our food came quickly. The special were the mussels and they really were special and was the stand out dish everyone had food envy over! The food was great as were the desserts and very reasonably priced considering the quality. Will definitely be checking out again in the next time we are in Devon

Four of us had the carvery on Wednesday. The food was well below par and the roast potatoes were either badly cooked or reheats from several days ago because they were inedible. Other customers also complained. But worst of all three of us had really bad upset stomachs the following day. I believe this was a mild form of food poisoning. I am writing this review today having just found out about our two friends also having upset stomachs. My wife was fine having had the nut roast and very few accompaniments. I’m afraid we will not be back.

We had a delicious lunch at The Harbour Inn - the food was beautifully cooked and well presented. The service was casual but efficient and friendly.

Saturday dinner for visitors to the area: great to see a very different menu. All dishes were executed well by the kitchen - loved the wild boar pate, generously portioned pie and the venison dishes were flavourful, Desserts did not disappoint. Good ale to accompany our meal. Service from friendly, smiling staff was excellent. I also like that they do not automatically add "service charge" leaving customers to decide. We left well fed and ready for the walk back to Seaton. We would definitely eat here again were we to return to the area.

The carvery was very good with plenty of choice. It was very busy and that made the service very slow.
