About Helter Skelter

Helter Skelter is an award-winning local in Frodsham, named after the famous helter skelter that was in operation on nearby Overton Hill between 1908 and 1977. It’s truly a temple to quality beer from around the world with ten real ales on tap and a regularly changing range of quality bottled beers from Belgium, Germany and around the world. It’s also a serial winner of the local CAMRA pub of the year award. Helter Skelter also serves a cafe-style menu in the main bar. Helter Skelter is open seven days a week with food served Wednesday to Sunday.

Never fails to be fantastic, staff amazing. Food beautiful, well presented and delicious. The barmaid was fabulous, efficient, helpful and accommodating. The pub was a little chilly on this vist, but previous visits have been cosy ad warm.

We had lunch here with 2 friends recently. The food was really good and the portions very generous. The buttermilk and smokey bacon light bite with fries was really tasty and freshly cooked. Our friends were really impressed with their meals and drinks too. The service and value and friendliness of the staff was first class. We'll definitely be going back.
