Coming to Leeds from Denmark it was a wonderful surprise to find such good food at such affordable prices! Philippe Lopez has created a superb restaurant which deserves to be full every single night! The atmosphere in the restaurant is extremely friendly and the food is top class! Classic English cuisine made with only the very best of raw materials. Definitely worth a visit! I know we'll be back next time out in Leeds.

Having come over from Ireland last November to watch Leeds play Bristol nine of us decided to try out Howard's Restaurant on the Friday night 11th Nov as it had not long opened and being seasoned travelers we had dined in most places in Leeds city center. We had a tremendous night, beautiful ambiance,,excellent food and wine which in our opinion was excellently priced. Without doubt our night was made all the more enjoyable by restaurant manager Philippe Lopez and his team who were attentive, courteous and extremely friendly to our group. Now you may put this down to a one off event as Howard's was not long open but this certainly is not the case. We were back once again on the 29th May 2011 with a party of 13 and when we walked into Howard's we were once again greeted by Philippe who welcomed us like long lost friends. Of the group, 5 of us had eaten in Howard's in November and we had been singing it's praises to the others so we wondered what they would think. Well we need not have worried as they were all blown away with the food , service and homeliness of Howard's. There is no rush with courses as all meals are cooked fresh and Head chef Paul Berriman and his team created some amazing dishes which we enthusiastically devoured. Without doubt we will be recommending Howard's to any of our friends who head over to Leeds and we certainly can't wait to get back for more top class cuisine and reasonable prices.
